We call ourselves an independent fundamental baptist church. What does that mean?

"Independent" means that LBC answers to no higher organization. Christ, alone, is the head of the church.
"Fundamental" is a term that gets abused in the media. We hold that there are some fundamental truths which are not subject to opinion. Outside of the fundamentals, we strive to be understanding and respectful, as befitting relationships between brothers and sisters in Christ.
"Baptist", because one of those fundamentals we hold to is that a believer should be baptised by immersion.
"Church," because we believe we are part of the body of Christ. We meet together to worship him, seek to do his will and to edify fellow believers.
