The Plague and the Cure

Romans 1:18-f.f.

Upon reading the passage in Romans along with I John 2:16, Matthew 4, and the temptation of Eve, we notice a couple of things about Satan, man, and sin. First, Satan tempts us all in one way. He first tempts us in our mind or our imaginations. Our imagination is affected by the thoughts we have and what we put into our minds. This is the main battlefield. Then he moves to our flesh. We act out our imaginations. Followed by our passions and ending at a very immoral lifestyle.

We also see that man is plagued with unrighteousness. This encompasses the entire world. All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. It affects the United States of America. Look at where we have come in the last 100 years. We have totally walked away from standing for any Christian principles and moved whole-heartedly toward the religion of humanism. This has happened because the plague also affects the church and through the years, we have become complacent and we let our guard down and now we refuse to stand.

We would all agree that Christ is the answer to a wayward world and country. My question to you is what will we do about it? Enough is enough. I am sick and tired of watching my rights being taken away. I am tired of being told to sit down and keep my mouth shut. I am tired of Christians being pansies. I am tired of the truth being pushed aside. We must declare all-out war!

We must declare war against sin and our selves I Cor. 15:56 & 57, Gal. 5:17, Rom. 8:7. We must declare war on fallacy John 17:17, I John 2:21, Psalms 25:25. We must also declare war on Satan himself Eph. 6:12, I Peter 5:8, Rev. 12:10. We cannot be dormant any longer. Time, truth and God demand our swift action.

Notice, war is never against people but against the error and immorality of humanism, that plagues us all. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness in high places. Love your enemy and bless those who despitefully use you but despise the sin.

Keep in mind that there will be casualties whether it is your time, money, friends, plans or even your life. Satan will fight harder than ever but we will prevail I John 4:4, Psalms 121. Truth must prevail so, “will you fight or just sit by and let fallacy rule?”
