“God’s faithfulness continues to all generations” Psalm 119:90
Londonderry Baptist Church was founded in 1799, while there were only 16 states, 30 people followed God through the leadership of Rev. Stephen Pillsbury to form “The Baptist Church Of Christ In Londonderry.”
They built their first building in 1829 on a piece of land called “Five Corners” which is where Litchfield Road, Harvey Road, and High Range Road intersect today. 70 years later they built their second building on Hall Road which still stands today.
In 1973 they completed the building now located on Mammoth Road. LBC has seen many changes in their membership and their country around them and still God has proven to be absolutely faithful.
Through times of decline and times of growth, LBC has been blessed by the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. LBC has stood strong and held fast to their commitment of being true to God’s Word and work.
We look forward too many more years of service to God and testifying of His greatness.
“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it.” – Matthew 16:18
